About AFL Ladder

AFL Ladder is an independent site that publishes the AFL ladder for every season since the first VFL season in 1897. The current ladder updates automatically after every match.

Where the data comes from

Ladders are calculated from match results. Every ladder is checked against independent standings before it is published (methodology).
